Weight of TRD exhaust?
I searched but wasn't able to find it, does anyone know the weight of the TRD exhaust as compared to the stock part? Thanks!

I have my stock muffler in a box right now since I recently switched it out for a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust, I can definitely say the stock exhaust was much heavier, but I don't know how much the TRD weighs.
I'll have to put my stock exhaust on a scale sometime. My guess is the TRD will be lighter though. |

I'll weigh stock vs. Tanabe, I don't have a TRD on hand.
Not going to be much difference though.

The Sedan TRD exhaust weighs 18lbs. boxed. I know because I had to return one.

I'm awaiting an incoming Tanabe Medalion before I make any moves.

1. Undo two bolts and two hangers. 2. Remove exhaust. 3. Weigh it. 4. Re-install and post on YW. Total time elapsed: approximately 30 minutes.

The pipe between the muffler cannister and exhaust tip is longer on the sedan version. A factory boxed unit weighs 18lbs.
BTW, that scale IS accurate, I've compared it to readings at the post office scale and its on the mark! So, yeah, it appears they both weigh the same...
