how about cleaning the backseat?? is there any household cleaners i can use?

Dude, take out the seat. Hose it down, mix up some detergent solution and scrub that sucker and rinse, repeat. Let it air dry. Then you maintain with a nice upholstery cleaner.

It looks pretty simple way of cleaning but I think it has more chances of damaging the seats rather than cleaning. I have spoiled my carpets by cleaning it with detergents many times and now I hire professional or prescribed cleaning methods. Thanks for reading my first post

I used a carpet cleaner, worked like a CHARM. Didn't even need much detergent, if at all.

Oil, goo, gum etc - Mineral spirits. Works great in carpet, too.

General dirt etc - warm water and dawn dish detergent.
Use a shop vac to suck out the solution, then go over with plain water and use the vac again. Then let dry.
Spray on cleaners, especially carpet cleaners, are magnets for dirt. It may look clean after you follow the directions. But the residue attracts and holds dirt. Say no to these cleaners.

I use Resolve Carpet Cleaner. Spray it on, scrub it around, then vacuum it off, and let it dry.
