Coolant/antifreeze. Toyota the only place to get it?

Is there any coolant besides the official Toyota stuff that i can just pour into the coolant system without having to drain and flush?

The nearest Toyota dealership is 50 miles away.

If not, how hard is it to drain and flush the system before adding new stuff. Instructions on how to do this would be appreciated. EDIT: Nevermind, found instructions.

Also, the only options to buy auto stuff within 50 miles is AutoZone, Orielly, and NAPA, besides Wal-Mart and the other dealerships. Just to give you an idea of what i'm working with here.

Personally if I was not going to run the Toyota coolant the only other one that I would run would be AMSOIL. I have been running amsoil coolant in my Yaris for four years now and it has worked like a champ. If you would be interested in checking out amsoil go ahead and shoot me a PM and I would be more than happy to work with you. The amsoil coolant is good for 250,000 miles or 7 years. Also changing your coolant or for that matter your transmission fluid without performing a flush quite honestly is like using the restroom and then not wiping before putting your pants back on

you can also buy the Toyota long life coolant over the internet but I found it to be the same price as the Dealer once they add shipping.

Yup....Shipping on hazardous liquids isn't cheap for sure.
