Thumbs up So, CTScott was just at my house...in San Diego. :)

Got a visit from the man himself today! Came all the way from Connecticut to hook my Yaris up to his techstream enabled laptop and tell me my clockspring was the cause for my airbag light. Can you believe how nice that guy is?!?!

SRSLY, he was in town for work and took the time to come to my house and troubleshoot my problem some 30 miles south of his destination...this community(and myself especially) owe him a debt of gratitude.

Thank you CTScott!!!

You do realize that was valuable time taken away from YarGauge development!

SRSLY, the man is truly one of the community's greatest assests.

I'm in SD until the 10:45 PM red-eye on Thursday night. I am tied up tomorrow morning through Thursday afternoon, but should be free Thursday evening until I fly ou. Maybe we can meet up some place down by the airport?

By the way, Toy_Toronto, I was up in Toronto last week from Friday over to Saturday. I was going to see if some of the people in your area wanted to get together, but the people with the company I was working with up there ended up taking me out for the evening.

Oh man! You were in Toronto????

You should've ping'd us in the Canada section!

Pretty sure you're quite familiar with with our GTA (Greater Toronto Area) members we meet every month. A lot of us would've made the effort to come to meet you in person.

Keep us in mind the next time you come down!!

Scott, if you find your way up to LA, a little of your expertise about this could go a long way:

Free beer afterwards, think it over

I have a full day of meetings and then fly out late tonight, but looking at your thread, I will be surprised if that part flapping really makes the mileage difference that you are seeing. Although, I keep seeing the add for the new ford that has an active front grill that closes at speed, so maybe.
