Anyone tried Toyo R888 yet ?
I might be interested to swap my tyres to Toyo R888 semi slicks in time to come. Any one tried it on the yaris yet ? Just wondering what is the noise level like.

what are you going to use it for? For street: I don't recomended, the compound is too soft, so it won't last that long, and during rain season, you have to becareful. For Drag race, okay, it has a very nice grip, and the price is much lower than ADVAN A048, or bridgestone RE01R
For the street use, why don't u use ADVAN Neova AD07. price is very cheap, and quality is very good on dry or wet. I always use this Tyre for Honda JAZZ One Make Race in Indonesia. very recomended |

R888 are very nice! I had to drive our GTI with 19" 235/35/19 888's in very heavy rain on east coast last week over 300 miles! They handled great, no hydroplaning!
I haven't run them on the Yaris yet, running the RA1 for now in 205/50/15... the 888 15" isn't officialy release in US yet, only larger sizes. The winning corolla in our AE86 time attack is running them too |
