Buying Used Yaris, Anything I Should Look Out For?

Hi everyone. I'm going to be buying a used 06/07 Yaris hatch soon. Just wondering if anyone can tell me any known issues or potential problems I should be looking for? Thanks everyone.

Above the standard things to look for when buying any used vehicle, just watch for nicks in the hood as the paint is thin and easily chipped by road debris.

From the prices I've been seeing ya might just think about a new one. Doesn't seem as though prices are coming down on used which is good because it means they're holding their value. I saw one on Ebay that was a sedan with 13,000 miles on it going for like $13-14K.

Look for any kind of paint of body work. I'm leary of cars this new being for sale used so soon. I know some people change their minds but you don't want to get a rebuilt one that was previously wrecked.

Great point. If the dealer doesn't offer a carfax report, it is well worth paying for a unlimited 30 day report. I did that when I was looking at used cars. Also fun because you can look up your current vehicle, or any for friends or family. If you know someone else who is looking you could split the cost.
