Even 85k is low. At 12k per year average, we should be in and around 120k.

Only did 8k miles (13k km) on mine in 2016, and 12.5k miles (20k km) since I bought it in January last year. Now standing at just under 120k miles (192 900 km). Car was built in February 2006. Almost half of the mileage so far is roadtrip. I don't drive it everyday for work, most of the time it's a short commute to the shop where I park and hop in the work truck, but sometimes my Yaris becomes the work truck and logs in a lot more miles. Last week I've done 600 miles for work only, working 9 hours plus 4 hours of driving. One of our work truck (GMC Savana cargo) has almost 400k km on it.

You're right around the 12k per year quoted U.S. average...

Yup, I'm aware. Except that it's not a constant mileage log for me. As much as I can do 1 000 km in a week, I could also do that in 3 months. If it wasn't for roadtrips, I'd be at half of the miles since my ownership. Around here the Yaris and Matrix aren't cars that you can find with low miles. Mine's actually on the lower side of the average, with still less than 200k km on it. Very few with less than 180k for the 2007 models. Most of them are at 200k-250k.

The other day at the dealership they had a single owner 2010 Kia Soul 4u full equip with chrome and two tone interior, very clean and only 41k km on it. That's less than 6k km/year, or about the same I do excluding roadtrips.

Wow, that's low mileage!!! My 2012 iQ is just approaching 30k, but I feel that I'll be WAY over 70k by the time it's 10 years old. Your Yaris looks spectacular!

Thank you, sir! I feel the same about your iQ. You've really done a bang up job with it.
