Cruise control and front bumber

Hello Yaris World friends, I just purchased a new 2012 YR hatch auto and very happy with it. I have two questions you may be able to help me with. I would like to put cruise control on it and understand that most of the hardware is in place and I just need the stalk control. Here in down under Toyota spares wont sell you the bits, you have to take to them and shell out $500 plus for them to install. Does any one know where to get genuine cruise control parts.
Q2 . I only had it for a couple of days and backed out of the mates driveway and scraped the bottom of the front bumper You can not see the damage unless you look under but it still hurts and I will proberbly get it repaired. I will avoid bad driveways now but is there anything you can get to protect the bumper underside.

Thanks in advance

I sell the cruise control stalk with its harness and mounting screws for $40. Shipping to Australia would only add about $10 to that.

An idea for the underside of your bumper (I have thought about this myself) is spray on bedliner material. This may be different in the US than in Australia but you can get it at an autoparts store in a spray can (like spray paint). Just put your car on ramps, clean the bumper, tape off the part you don't want covered, and spray. I was thinking this could also cover what has already been damaged and it is easy to touch up if it does happen again.

there again, just an idea I have been playing with.

Thanks for replys, I will proberly get the scrape marks repaired this time and if it happens again I will consider your idea Beef. I did find a Ebay merchant selling what is called EZlip available in the US. It is a stick on type rubber but it looks a little thick to me which would reduce your ground clearance even moore and I think you would get road grit gathering in between the rubber and the bumber.

I'm not 100% on which bit of the bumper is damaged but would the cheap lip in this thread cover the issue up?

Thanks Stuart, yeh it would cover it up but I would still know it was there and it bugs me because it is brand new. I plan to see the panel repair blokes in the next few weeks and get a quote. I would take the bumper off myself and take it in and not the car. I could not stand leaving a new car at a panel shop where they leave your window down and the car fills with bog dust from sanding and then they give it back to you with bog dust and some extra scratches thrown in
