smell like a burning rubber when accelerating

Ok,i've a 2008 yaris hb. The problem is,each time i do some kick,when my engine revs to 5k rpm,the interior will fulfilled with smells of burning rubber. Anyone knows what causes this? it's pretty annoying

i mean kickdown.Just a normal kickdown, It happens when engine touch 5k rpm.

Any chance that burning smell could be coming from a burnt clutch/transmission because we can rule out smoking tires due to extreme acceleration.

lol Naw I'm gonna go with jambo101 on this and say clutch and/or transmission problem. Just drive normally and you'll be fine
