Sounds like your battery is dead. Have you tried jump-starting or charging the battery?

Haven't tried.. I have no idea where to have began. I tapped on the starter to see if that was the issue, tried unplugging and plugging the battery back in. Lights and music come on though. Could that still be the issue?

Thank you for the rapid response

The battery is the most likely cause with your symptoms. Do the lights dim when you try to start it? Would you happen to have a voltmeter to measure the battery voltage?

If you know someone with jumper cables, that would be my first suggestion.

Alright, thank you folks.

If you lived close to me I'd love to fix any computer issues you have.

I'll keep an update.

Until help arrives to diagnose the issue, yes the lights are dimming when starting, no voltmeter. If it was the starter, god forbid, would the "Check Engine" light come on?

It's a weak battery. If you have a friend with jumper cables, get it started and drive down to your friendly local car parts store. They'll swap the battery for you.

Could even be dirty cable ends. Try taking them off and giving them a good cleaning. You'll have to do this in any case, so it's not wasted effort.

Car runs. Had to change the battery. Thank you so kindly yaris forumers.

I ended up buying a battery that was a weee too tall for the bay, i had to take out the plastic holder from the bottom in order for it to fit... Hope i won't be needing that
