About to install pair of cams but.....

about to install pair of cam, they said you do not need to reprogram ecu with current setting (272, 9.5mm)..i am already running piggyback so i can update further setting but they said it replaces the stock cam....
hmmm anybody running cams...?

Suspension: Hankook Tires, Performance OEM replacement Shocks & Springs F: 1.5 B: 1.4, Mu Spec brake pads, Front tower & Rear sway bars, Rays nut & lock

You can certainly run cams with the stock ecu, you just wont see anywhere near the gains as you can with a tune. Double check the clearance when you install those cams, with the 9.5mm lift Jun cams we had to do a little machine work on the head so the lobes did not hit the casting.

thxz for the reply. i told the mechanic that i have piggyback ecu, feel free to program however he want the setting to be and he said this cams bolt-on for stock ecu...-_- so i guess ill install it and see what happens

Are 1nz and 2nz camshafts the same? I've read that the heads are the same...

same hp gain as JUN cam bolt on...about 15hp gain..
