Tanabe Medalion
which one is better? tanabe touring(axel-back) or concept g(axel-back)? do they have different specs? im asking this because i was given an offer of 170 bux for a used concept g 207-2011. here are the pics of the used concept g. i was actually thinking of the touring, but the price of the concept g is getting to me so....give me whatever thoughts you guys have in mind. btw, the exhaust comes as-is so is there anything i have to get/buy for it cause i have a 2012 yaris se.

This should fit on your 2012 yaris... I've ordered mine and will get it next monday (I guess) I bought Tanabe medalion touring. I don't think there is really hudge difference between those exept the sound they make. Just check some video on youtube about people who installed the concept G and Touring and choose the one you prefer !

thanks a lot TrYaris! =} i did some research and i just found out that the concept g is slightly louder than the touring, and comes with the same gain as well. although i was aiming for the touring, i can't beat the price on the concept g that i was offered

Nice :) For now i'm saving up for DcSport header + Cold air intake (AEM). My friend told me to keep my shortram because it does a really great sound and dont take that much dust compare to the cold air intake... I'm still thinking about it

The G is definitely louder. I got my Medalion used from a member who thought he would prefer having a G. In short order, he regretted getting rid of the Medalion.

I have an AFE short ram intake and i love the sound! I don't have to worry about hydro lock. Saving up dc headers and microimage light weight crank pulley!

His/her loss, your gain hm....in your opinion, the concept g doesnt sound like a fart can does it? i've seen videos of dyno runs and demos of how the concept g sounds. but because you own one yourself, is it as loud as people say? does it bother neighbors? can u still have a conversation in the car with the noise?

I've not personally heard the G, I just know from what others have said that it is loader. The Medalion Touring does not affect the ability hold a conversation in the car. Cruising, it is only a drone. Gun it and she'll growl nicely. I do have a video up on Youtube taken from inside the car while driving. I also prefer the tip on the Touring. While the tip on the G screams 'fart can', the Touring states 'nice tip'.

I have the touring. Quiet, but you know it's there when you stomp the pedal! It's put together like a fine watch. I bought it from GARM and I suggest everyone here does too because he won't play games with you or rip you off...
That concept G is such a good deal though...

That combination will feel like a completely different (and better) car.
