I changed out my stock wipers at around 35300 miles, I was surprized they
lasted that long, and they get alot of use here in the Pacific N.W., I got my replacements at the Toyota Dealership , my Yaris just turned 36000 miles this morning and no problems |

BS. Total BS. I work for a Toyota (and Ford) dealership in the parts dept. I can order 1 wiper insert, or 1 million. We don't even get a price break for ordering more. Why they don't want to do their job is beyond me.

I still love the neoforms and its pretty cool that wipers123 sends me inspection reminders occasionallly so I always know how old my wipers are.

I've had the same pair of silicone triple edge wiper blades on my civic for about 7 years I think.....give or take a year or two each way......just got to clean them every few months. The suspension arms are sun oxidizing but they are still holding up......

I used neoforms on my minivan last winter. They are awesome wipers. I just ordered a set for the Yaris. I highly recommend them.

.
.. ...update not 100% happy with the new Trico exact fit rear for the yaris HB (the fronts are fine) the rear loses traction at the tip furthest from the arm, in the first 4 inches of wipe, from .1 to 1 inch to .1 inch wide. failsauce. I have a peeve and it is any rear wiper with less than 100% contact. I will need to regroup and try a new arm, or a new insert, or something to calm my seething rage. |

figured out the rear Trico exact fit problem:
The Trico exact-fit replica wiper blade housing is close, but not exactly the same as the OEM. The length stop-to-stop is 3mm longer. The Trico insert has some wiggle room side-to-side, allowing the far-end of the insert to float off the glass when pressure is applied to the middle of the insert I slid the Trico insert out of the Trico arm, installed the Toyota arm, and slid in the Trico insert. The Toyota stop tabs touch the insert at both ends of the blade, and when the arm is at rest position, the stops hold the insert and keep it from floating off the glass. So, in the case of: should I get a new insert, or a whole new Trico exact fit assembly ? say NO to Trico, or just get the insert. Other companies may make a better OEM-fit blade housing, but Trico dropped the ball on this one. I now have 100% rear wiper contact. crisis averted.
