07 LB mileage

MY 07 LB has 70,000 miles on it . I recently went 391 miles and refilled with 9 gallons (9.017) . This is a combined city and highway miles . Roughly 42-43 mpg .

Must be nice. It seems that I can't break 31-33 mpg mixed with 65% hwy/35% city. :(

On another note, aside from oil changes/tires, have you needed to do any maintenance/repairs in your 70K?

Thanks.

This made me think of an article from Motor Trend a while ago. They tested a prius, VW Jetta TDI, an Echo and another economy vehicle that I can't remember what it was. The Echo bested the TDI and nearly matched the much heavier Prius at the time with 42mpg trip overall average.

I have an 07 LB /w manual tranny and 33,000 miles on the odometer. I average 41/43 mpg city and 48/53 mpg hwy. No mods just over inflated tires.
