2011 Liftback: Will parts for earlier cars fit?

Howdy,

Looking at Sparks online to get some pieces for my replacement PnutKar (see Wrecked PnutKar...). I find it hard to believe that the mudguards for 2007 are $25, 2009 are $30, and 2011 are $60!!!. Has the body changed that much? Same goes for the bumper protector ($35 versus $45 w/ugly logo). The price of an earlier model is quite reasonable compared to a newer model; yet, standing at the rear of my new car I can't see any difference in geometry. So, will the mudguards and bumper protector for a 2007 or 08 fit a 2011? Anybody on this forum know?

Many thanks.
