Hi CTScott, thanks for all the help you are providing.

I have a 2011 liftback MT, no power. According to your guide, there is no need to add wiring from the ECM to steering column for all liftbacks 2009-2011.

Someone asked earlier in the thread if the cruise would work for this particular model and you answered he needed to add the connector D3 pins and run wire to the ECM.

I am confused. Will I need to run the wire or will it be plug and play ?

Thanks again for you time !

My guide is correct for your car. The other person did not have the same...

I have a Canadian 2008 sedan I bought a kit online years back it only works for the first 5 to 10 minutes of driving the Yaris and then stops working like I can get on to the highway set it at 100 and it will hold there till I hit the brakes.. but the switch stops working like no exceleration or deceleration you can't even turn it off or cancel with the stock so I'm lost on why it's doing this anyone have some insight?

I bought a cruise kit from CT Scott about a year ago for my French built, 2015 Yaris L automatic, Took about 45 minutes to install, plug and play. Looks like it was installed at the factory and still works great.

nvfool, when I ordered my cruse from scott, I had to send him a personal message to place order. I don't remember how I done that, clicked on his name in one of his posts or clicked on the quick reply in corner of one of his posts?

I apologize if this has been asked before but here goes.

I have a 2010 Yaris Sedan with auto transmission and no power locks or doors.
So for the OEM stalk route, do I just need the cruise control stalk and wire? Or do I also need the ECM connector pin?
Will probably just go ahead and use the steering wheel cover with the hole already in it too.

Cheers

Edit: Looked around a good bit more and looks like I just need the stalk :)

CTScott,

I have a 2011 Yaris Hatchback 5Dr which I bought a week ago. It has a 43K miles on it. It has all the power windows and power doors. I was wondering what do I need to install the Cruise control in it.

Much appreciate it.

You may only need the handle

My Vitz 2010 model Japanese imported. It already has wiring upto ECM (saw it by removing the cover behind the steering )but my cluster doesn't have any indicators for CC. Do you think if i install OEM CC, my car would be able to handle it? irrespective of the indication on the cluster? if this is the case, i might change my insturmenet cluster.

I installed the OEM CC stalk and ran the CC signal line from D3 to AD4, getting to AD4 was not too bad, just trying to work in the small area under the dash was the only challenge. Grounded the GND line from D3 was no issue.

I recommend the up grade to anyone needing CC

Thanks again to Scott for all his great help and supply of connectors.
