Possible Yaris buyer. Hows this one look?

http://www.kernmotors.net/2007_Toyot..._238459744.veh

Ive been looking for a replacement for my rotting out Buick Regal for some time now. Rockers are but it runs like brand new (with 188k miles no less). Its the first sedan Ive ever had and I generally hate the fact its so useless for carrying things. Always had hatchback/wagons before. Really like small hatchbacks like the Fiesta and Mazda 2 and what not. Never looked into the Yaris before, havent seen many for sale locally.

Found this one above at a local dealer and hes had it for some time now. Price seems awesome, great miles on it, LOVE the lack of power options. Im thinking about test driving it sometime soon. Kind of worried about the silly electronic throttle, that totally kills cars for me. Found a gorgeous lifted Suzuki SX4 over the Fall that I just couldnt buy because the manual combined with the drive by wire was awful.

Any input? It looks like a rock bottom base model to me but Im not positive. Like I said I never looked into them before.

Clean retail for that car in your area is $6375 (http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2007/...back-3D/Values), so it's not too bad.

The electronic throttle is nothing to worry about. Search the forum, I don't recall any reports of it giving anyone trouble.

I have basically the same car but a 2008 (no electric windows or locks, and an auto w/32K on it). It's been bulletproof ever since I bought it. Other than tires and a battery, it's needed nothing but gas.

I would take a Yaris hatch over a lifted SX4 any day of the week!

Cheers! M2

Nothing wrong with electric throtteles. Just remember the hatch on this isn't huge, it's smaller than my beetle's was. Rock solid car though.
