Auto Shifting knob ?

I just wonder how hard to remove the AT shifting knob? Since I would like to replace a custom one..
The worse case is to cut it out..but I don't want to go that way.

The knob is threaded, it will screw off pretty easily.

Yeah...I took mine off with no probolem....just twist it counter-clockwise.

I too am I lover of the power tools, but I'm glad you got the correct answer before it came to that!

I want a longer one so I can rest my arm on my armrest and still shift....lol
