Toyota Yaris D4D

Greetings,

I have a Toyota Yaris D4D 2011 (XP130) and I have some questions for the turbine. I hooked up a torque app and a Bluetooth device to read live data and by the looks of it, looks like I'm getting 0.8 bar of boost. Is this normal or am I lacking some boost somehow?

I don't have any check engine lights on or any dtc errors on the diagnostic tools.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you :)

I'm sorry I can't help as we didn't get diesel Yarii in the US.

What kind of gas mileage are you seeing?

I'm not 100% but i think when the car states the amount of boost it's the amount it's adding on existing atmospheric pressure. So 1 bar + 0.8 bar for 1.8 bar total (around 25psi).

My milage seems to be normal. I'm getting 5.2lt/100km on average using city and motorway driving.

I meant the calculated boost. That's probably accounting the barometric pressure and taking it off the equation leaving us only the turbo boost pressure. I just can't find anywhere what's the supposed turbo boost pressure should be :)
