Yes. 16" wheels with proper offset and proper tyre size will just "plop" on your Yaris like a 15".

EDIT: I wouldn't recommend wheelfire.com. Pricing is not very good, and they are clueless about proper wheel offset and tyre size for the Yaris.

Was thinking of just going to Canadian tire, buying 4 white 16 inch steelies, putting them on with 16 inch rubbers and boom. The end.

Would it be possible to do this as easy as I imagine?

not bad, i gonna pop over to my local canadian tire and see what i can get, 450 CND i can afford for a safer drive in the winter, and once i slam them on we will be ready to zip around again only without the boom :P

Most likely not, since they're 14's. What's the offset and width?

14's? i thought he said he was getting 16's? tires look gud and rims dont look like they would collect too much snow. width is a big factor and the space around the tire (between body and tire) for snow to escape and not clog up. the 16's should give u a little more ground clearance too

He said he was going to buy 16" steelies from Canadian tire. But he went with 14" wheels from Craigslist.
