just bragging

Well I was going to brag until I saw the Yaris with 450k miles. Anyhoo. 120,000 and it runs just like it did the day I bought it. 1 accessory belt. 2 sets of spark plugs. Recently installed Hankook Optimo 100k mile tires. Still on the original brake pads. Mobil 1 every 10k, with a filter change every 5k. Gotta love it.

I have had a bunch of nice cars and my Yaris beats the heck out of them. Just got my issue of Motor Trend. Are they clueless or what regardind the Yaris? The money I have saved owning the Yaris has allowed me to start shopping for a Z06. Yaris during the week. Z06 on the weekend. Thanks yarisworld and Toyota!

LOL...you must be quick on changing the filter before losing oil! Shouldn't that be the other way around....change oil every 5k miles with a filter change every 10k miles?

Ive practically got it down to a quick science. I lose a minimal amount of oil and just top off what I do lose. My Blackstone analysis tells me my oil is good for at least 10k.
