I've contemplated this once or twice, but I'm not sure how I'd go about anchoring the lower portion of it. I think I would go with mandrel bent round tubing attached to square/rectangular uprights, like on a police cruiser. Since I'm not skilled with a welder and don't have a mandrel bender, it's just going to be a pipe dream for me.
That, and there's probably some interference with pedestrian crash safety regulations. =( |
