Seeking wheel advice from someone who KNOWS part II...

....oh please continue the entertainment. I love listening to Mechanical Engineer's who only deal in theory and know nothing of real life experience! That thread was just getting good...

Actually....2 of them snapped in half and crumbled to dust as I pulled it into the garage.

lol, just read that locked thread...good times

i had 18x8 OZ superleggera's (17.6lbs) w/ 225-40-18 scorcher t/a tires (hard as rocks) on my matrix for over a year in the "mean streets" of london, ontario with frost heave, expansion joints, etc and had zero bends, dents, dings, whatnot. actually i drove all over ontario on those rims/tires w/o incedent

oh well, IBL

Yes...that is my e30 M3. There was no question really....just hoped to revive a thread that got locked for no reason and was pure entertainment. Please see the first thread if you are confused.

I've met millionaires who are more humble than a middle aged guy with a mechanical engineering diploma.

LOL...I have met multi-multi millionaires that have more engineering degrees and are 100X more humble than this guy (all of which are 10 years younger or more). It's so ridiculous...I just can't get over the comedy. All over a 15" wheel for a Yaris. Classic as classic gets!

And I was on the fence as to whether or not to get rid of my 10lb forged wheels or not.

1. I don't live in the Northeast - keep the wheels.

2. I want to track the car - keep the wheels.

3. I might run over a curb while looking at a girl - sell the wheels.

4. I am an engineer - could go either way.

I have to read the rest of the arguments from both sides.

Solution: Drive way under the speed limit.

Problem? Solved.

Anyways, we should just turn this into a E30 M3 thread. Since I love E30s. I've had 3 of them.

Yeah, it was just gettin' good.

Nothing like good old fashion debate. There was no profanity, no insults, just good debate.

Bummer....
