First oil change done at 2,109 miles.
Car was so quiet at idle I freaked out for a second.
Smoother accelerating, very noticeable to me.

^_^

Dang, I'm still a Maintenance Needed light virgin...

I know how to reset it now, 'cause of this forum. I believe it may be in my 2013 manual, also, can't remember

I think mine ran seemingly smoother, also - As I've written before, I believe there is too much of a lack of oil changing by a lot of folks in the U.S.

I have heard through the years that there are engine wear filings that get into the factory oil and filter through the break-in process. I've also heard it was worse in the decades past, better tech. nowadays and more precision tooling has lessened the wear.

I also know it's OK to change the factory fill out early for piece of mind

Synthetic oil tames the engine noise as well . Can get synthetics for less than $4 a quart . A few are SHELL synthetic , Pennzoil Platinum , Pennzoil Ultra , and MOBIL 1 .
