If anyone needs some HIDs or LEDs for the meet on Wednesday and let me know today so I can set the parts out to bring. I'll be coming in from Niagara Falls.

$80 for a flexible kit that has hid high and low beams. Let me know the color and I can bring it along.

4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, 10000k, 12000k

If I recall correctly you don't need to disable the DRL's, but I can show you how to do it at the meet

The colour is the same on high and low beam. Always. The HID bulbs doesn't get brighter from high beams, the bulb moves back (with the aid of a small magnet) which gives a high beam spread. I currently have a flexible kit in my Mk4 jetta. They're great.

4300 is OEM white
5000 pure white
6000 white with hint of blue
8000 more blue
10000 gets a deeper blue almost into violet tint
12000 is violet

I personally run 4300k as you get best visibility and it looks stock

Now that I think about it 6k did have that hint of blue and it did look good think I'll go with that as for brightness it would be equal to a 55w bulb on low ..I never raised up my light after lowering car so no worry about blinding ppl cos that would be my consurn too.
Just wonder what a 6k would look like with the yaris big lenses ..?

Anyone have any engine covers they want to part with? Looking at either garms aluminum or the carbon fiber ones. Anyone? Let me know and I'll bring some money on the 13th. Thanks

Barber, sorry to get off topic, but have you been to Adventure Rooms in Kitchener? If not, it's a lot of fun, id recommend to anyone that lives nearby.
