3 more questions from a noob

I was looking at the engine bay this past weekend and some things puzzled me. I've never owned a "new" Toyota until now and it seems like some things have changed. Could someone help me out? They're probably easy to answer for you Yaris gurus. Thanks in advance :)

1) I could see the brake reservoir in case I need to fill brake fluid, but where is the reservoir for the clutch?

2) Did Toyota actually put the ECU in the engine bay, on the firewall? I've only seen ECUs in the cabin, usually under that dashboard. Is that just weird or what?

3) Am I correct that these 1NZ engines have an external water pump? So if it ever fails, I don't have to remove the timing belt (timing chain, in this case) to get to it?

1) M/Cyl must supply fluid to the S/Cyl

2) Common practice to put ECUs in the engine bay. Looks like ours get pretty good airflow around it

3) External pump
