Labor Day Weekend in Malibu/Rock Store (do people still have 56k?)

On Sunday a buddy of mine and I decided to head out to Malibu to the local hotspot because we figured it would be so busy we'd see some really cool stuff. Also, the canyons in the area are incredible so that was also some good motivation.

When we got to the area there were hundreds of bikes. I have way more pics but I'm going to post the most relevant ones. My friend was the photographer for the day

Jay Leno on what I believe is a steam car

my buddy and I parked at the top of the snake

some bikes coming up the snake (not the hardcore guys)

went to lunch at neptunes net, cool pic there

came back to the snake (which was totally worth it because of this pack of exotics that came through)

and near the end of the day my friend caught some pics of me leading as we went down the snake

as a side note: sunday was the first time i got to really test the TRD suspension on a technical canyon and it reacted well.
Brakes need addressing now as well and a little more power would help on the uphill. An interesting thing that I have now confirmed is that the gear ratios on the auto tranny seem to be perfect for any kind of canyon Ive been on. Compared to my other manual cars, this tranny seems to perform pretty well.

Enjoy the pics!

Jay Leno is hilarious, I'd kill to be related to him. He seems like the kind of guy who can appreciate anything with an engine.

That silver Aston Martin was amazing too, definitely one of my top exotic car manufacturers.

of your sedan too

Wow, you got to meet Jay Leno! That guy is such a car nut! Anyway, I want a rear sway bar. My sedan understeers pretty bad if I push it before the apex of the turn.

the sway bar is worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend it

i actually learned this lesson my old integras comparing the effects of having stock vs. upgraded vs. none and on a fwd car i think its a complete necessity

go get the UR rear sway from garm! Even cheaper than TRD and similar performance

i stuck with TRD for warranty and i wanted it all to match. Not to mention I got a 20% off coupon lol

Love to Jay Leno photos!

The guy in the yellow car really ought to be more careful, though. You'd think with a car like that you'd know to stay in your lane when the roads turns, uh?
