Motor for my other car coming together

NA VG30E block with turbo manifold, basically stock but refreshed.

Will be going into my 85 Z31 Turbo

Car is going back together mostly stock, but with intercooler and BOV (didn't come with either from the factory)

Thanks! Haven't driven this care for like 7 years for various reasons, including selling it and reacquiring it. Definitely looking forward to it, but it's a slow project.

Thanks! Don't have a lot of updates as I just sold my house and am buying a new one January 15th, but it has a huge 2 bay garage that could easily fit the Z, the yaris, and my wife's pontiac vibe plus another car.

Should be able to make progress once I'm all moved in.

That's awesome. I actually wired one up into my old 03 WRX wagon hahahahaha. I need to find another one someday so I can put it into something.

They're not particularly hard to come by. I have seen a few people get the JDM unit that speaks Japanese and install them. I always thought that would be pretty cool, but very low priority.

My goals aren't particularly crazy for this car. 2 of my kids will be driving within the next 3-4 years and I want to have this car as my DD by then. One of the kids will likely get the yaris and the other will have something else.

My wife's pontiac vibe is about to hit 250k and I want to get her something new pretty soon and put a lower mileage 1zz and manual in the vibe, so that may end up as another DD or car for one of the kids.

I guess this will just be my Z31 thread now.

Car is loaded up sitting at my friend's house. My garage is full of material as we're remodeling our new house but we're getting pretty close to being done.

Once I get it home I'm going to give it a good cleanup and probably paint the engine bay before dropping the motor in.
