Good luck!

No problem. I think the hardest part was to figure out a way to hold the eyelids so you can paint them and let them dry. You only need to get to the top and edges, the bottom can be left un-painted. I ended up using papertowel tubes, no papertowels on it of course, and taped them to the underside of the eyelids. Once they are secure, find a spot that you can set the tube down (standing it upright) and paint. Maybe stick a screwdriver into the ground and put the tube over it. Start the paint process by holding down the button on the spray paint can before you get to the eyelid and continue with the paint until after the eyelid. Hold the can about 8 - 10" away and move the spray can back and forth smoothly. Don't try to cover it in one or two passes. Be patient and follow the directions on the cans. Many light coats are better than 2 or 3 thick coats. Follow the same process for the clear coat, making sure the actual paint has had plenty of time to cure. Again, check the clear coat spray can for when it's safe to spray the clear. You can do it!

Use a blow dryer next time to strech the vinyl out so you don't have the folds/crinkles. You will need to pull off the headlights to be successful in that.

Yeah, in this this case, Vinyl would be the best case, but you need to see what's translucent. But the tint should have contoured better with the heat though no?

When they offer 09 LB headlights without the yeller side markers I'll get the eyelids, otherwise it just accenuates the problem.

I mean the headlight assembly without the yellow side markers like you can get for 07-08. Adding eyelids to an ugly headlight just draws attention to the bad styling.

^ Most states require that amber reflector. Toyota put them in the head light because if they put it anywhere else then it would have been "BAD" styling. If you take out amber reflector you will probably get ticketed for it alot. But if it really bothers you that much then bake your head light, pull them apart, and remove the reflector.
