Fixed rattle...now what?
Hi,
I had an awful rattle coming from the rear of my hatch. I searched the forums and tried almost everything I could think of. Finally read the post about the rear center belt making noise. I found out it was the roll-up mechanism in the right rear wheel well area....rattling and buzzing like crazy. I decided to remove the entire center belt and the noise is gone. Now I am left with plastic trim and accessory pieces in the back roof of the hatch. The trim piece where the belt slides thru looks okay but the buckle storage piece in he roof looks bad. If I remove it there will be a hole (at the least) in the ceiling. Anybody else removed this belt and were you able to make it look good afterward? Maybe just get used to the peace and quite and forget about it?? Thanks...T |
