[police siren] firewall cable passage? (yaris 2013)

Last month I mounted the police siren speaker behind the fron bumper grill and I cant for the love of me figure out how to pass the speaker cable to the inside, would like ideas on where I could mount the unit inside.
I had this siren installed in a ford explorer when I blew that up I installed it in a Honda accord that I sold off in a year and now my new yaris 2013

Look at the "Stickies" same question you're asking has been answered 100 times. We also have a Search button as well. Gets to be a bit repetitive answering the same questions.

The OP is talking about a third gen, which does have some wiring differences, but the large firewall grommet that is up under the dash to the left of the steering column (and comes out behind the battery) is the same.

So the huge hole on the pass side is gone? I'm sure if I took the time to "search" I could pull up a pic.

The large one on the lower portion of the passenger side is actually the condensate drain for the A/C. On the second gen there was a small grommet above the ECM on the passenger side, but I haven't had a chance to poke around on a third gen to see if that is still present.

4 th pic down them 2 vacuum hoses have a lot of room around that rubber. Speaker wire can fit on the side of it just use a sleeve around it.

Used same one. Need to take a pic of mine. There's a few ways he can run it that I can see. They have all been mentioned at one time or another.

the grommet in the first pic is the first thing I noticed I figured I could poke a hole in it w a screwdriver and run the wires there but im guessing it comes out somewhere behind the glovebox and I tried the normal way of pushing the sides in on the glovebox to drop it down and the plastic is too stiff or too new to push in

The first one is the ideal one to use (and is in the same location as on the 2nd gen Yaris). Look at the Cruise control DIY in my signature below to see exactly where that one comes out under the dash.

It is stiff. I discovered with mine (2nd gen) that I had to push in the sides to the point where I thought for sure something was going to snap. It didn't though, and popped free.

I got it off took me like 10 attempts I was already storming up a plan to get it fixed under guarantee if it broke apart found it easy by doing the left side first and I wedged a screwdriver to pop each side out.

anyway most of it is done I passed the speaker wires and positive and negative cables and taped up most the cables to make it look neat.

whats left is to connect is the cables to the battery and figure out where im going to bolt the unit to inside, can I jump the negative wire to the negative terminal of the battery so I don't have to look for a grounding srew or bolt?
