Not quite, the TS is the 1.8L version with about 138hp IIRC

Official Toyota Yaris turbo is still just an announcement and prototype at the moment.

Will they put the dang 2ZZ in it already??? I saw a full 32 page post of a guy who was putting the 2ZZ into a Rolla. Id pay 2G's more for what I figure it would cost for the 2ZZ. They would kill the Honda Fit and Nissan Versa market. That is until Honda puts the KA20 in the Fit.

Are they going to offer the TS in the states? I like the second video... it shows a 3-door model. Don't like the 5-dr.

In the UK, the Yaris TS is sold as the Yaris SR (see my thread from last week).

Yaris SR (click me)

I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if they came over.

No one is currently offering a "hot" b-segment hatch in the U.S. I think Toyota should be the first!

Those are all C segment cars.. B segment cars are the next size class down, e.g. Honda Jazz/Fit, Honda City, Yaris, etc.
