2008 Yaris engine and transmission
Before anyone gets too excited, this is a European 3 cylinder engine and manual transmission. It's complete with all sensors, clutch, harness, etc.
They came out of the same car and haven't been separated. They are actually still in the original wrapping that they were shipped in from Europe. I believe the mileage is approximately 80k. It was purchased to be part of the Automotive X-Prize contest. Our team decided in the end to go with a turbo/hydrogen set up, along with some aerodynamic improvements and clever reductions in parasitic losses. Anyway, before the project was completed, the financial backers backed out due to the economy. I am looking to get the best offer I can. If it fails to sell, it will be scrapped for weight. I am willing to separate the engine and transmission, and lacking any offers, I will also separate any desired component. Please let me know if there are any questions you would like answered. Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |
