Does my Yari look weird?

I stuck on some side protection moldings (toyota ones) and front and back corner ones (made by Richbrook) - didn't like the toyota ones because they looked a bit thin and skinny and made the car look like something from a fu man chu movie.

Do they look really bad?

Depends what you want it to look like

Nah, it's not too bad, but does make it look slightly cheaper, imo.

If you look at the Yaris front as a face. Those black strip look like black paint american football players put on along w/ baseball players.

Yes the front moldings were a nightmare to put on - there was no way of aligning them to the shape on the front properly - it curves all over the place!

I had to look at other cars to see where to put them (golf was one of them) as there really isn't a guide to where to place them - only from looking at pictures (and testing with other car doors opening on to the side to see the effect) and that was only for the side moldings.

hmm I was thinking of painting to match the color of the car so it may blend in more with the lines of the car...but that sorts of beats the objective....still deciding....

I like it! the contrast looks nice, besides I'm wondering if might be too flexible to paint anyway?

I won a bid off ebay (genuine toyota ones which someone didn't want and was unused) only cost me equivalent about 20 US inclusive of shipping. The dealers here charges equivalent over 100 US!! The front/back third party ones cost me more than the side ones!

Eh. I don't mind the sides as much as the bumpers; plus, the sides are more practical -- they'll protect against other doors; what do the front and rear ones do? There's no such thing as a minor fender bender anymore; I'd take off the front and rear and just leave the sides.

Overall, I like my Yaris clean and smooth!

Sides are ok to paint as they are hard.
front and back are the soft impact type so that may not work too well if painted - paint likely to break very easy....unless you get the toyota ones which I didn't like..

I like my yaris clean and smooth also but people don't know how to park properly in London streets!

I had this woman parked right behind me once within 1cm and there were no cars in front or behind me!
