Air Con Noisy & Intermittant
Mech report:
Heater fan motor - noisy bearing and rust around the resistor block Heater Fan motor and resistor block need replacing and new air filter required as there is not one installed. My car has had a history of water running into the passengers side footwell, could this have caused the rusted AC block? |

10-1 odds are it IS the cause, as ive seen exactly how the whole assembly mounts to the firewall(see my ac install thread) youd have to be pouring water into the cowl by the bucketload or fire hose to get water in there...unless you had the car parked nose up a hill....that would certainly cause water to get in with ease
