2009 Yaris Start Up
Hi, I need a little help in trying to identify what is causing my irregular car startup. Whenever I turn the ignition the car would struggle to start and eventually not. And when I turn the ignition again soon after it would start without a problem. The RPM though when started is at 2000 which is pretty high. This happens every morning before heading to work and evening before leaving the office. Basically when the engine is cold. I have a VVti engine and oil and filter was changed a few months ago. Any one have any ideas?

Have you checked the battery? It's where I would start...

Cold Start
That 2000 RPM cold-started RPM may be normal/correct for that vehicle.
How long are you running the first-start-attempts that fail? |
