eManage Blue

Hello guys,

I am looking to purchase an entry level Fuel/ Ignition controller. The price on the Greddy eManage Blue seems very reasonable however I'm sure i'd need additional items, I'm just not sure what.

Here's a link;

http://www.nengun.co...y/e-manage-blue

Could you guys fill me in on what else I would need to purchase along with the unit please?

An alternative unit would be the AEM F/IC for $380 US however the plug n play harness is $500

Thanks much

what plug 'n play harness is there for the eManage? I think you have to wire that up just like the FI/C (if you don't buy the harness for it).

I know with the FI/C there are several members on here who can help you with your tuning.

I am strongly leaning towards the FI/C just because its AEM

And I guess I would go for an eManage ultimate because the combined cost for ecu + harness is about $900

From what I've read, the ultimate is one of the best piggybacks you can get. Also read that they updated the blue so you can use a regular USB cable to hook it to your PC.

Sounds like I should just get the Ultimate but can you confirm if the harness is a good buy?

Haltech sprint 500 is a great option if you have the $. AEM FIC is good but some people have issues, dont know anything about emanage.

Focus Shift kindly posted instructons on wiring the AEM FIC - nothing too complicated - looks worth saving 500 bucks

Hmmm I personally wouldn't trying but I'd see if I can get an electrician to do it (I hate splicing wires)

I confirmed from the part number on greddy's site that the PnP Harness is legit

http://www.greddy.com/products/elect...r:make:Toyota/

but I could use that $500 to buy other stuff

Then you can simply buy the AEM harness. After all would you decide to sell it some time in the future it would still have good retail value. I would go with AEM stuff because people know it here

Not for US cars. I have an E-Manage Ultimate and V-Manage that have been collecting dust under my desk since 2010. We could find no support for the product at all, ended up with the AEM EMS 2.
