GROUP BUY: 1NZ to 1ZZ TB spacer/adapter

Looks like xen555 was able to find a fabricator for the TB spacers. These ones are specifically made for those that have a 1ZZ throttle body so as to make a smooth transition between the 1NZ intake mani and the TB. The fabricator can also add a hole for the nitrous nozzle if required.

The normal price is $125, which is a bit steep, but we may be able to get a discount if we buy a few as a group.

SPECIAL GROUP BUY PRICE is $105 shipped inside the US, but we need at least 5 people to lock into this price!

So who's interested?

3. cruz-gsr [NOS] PAID
4. MGargano PAID

It improves throttle response a bit and reduces turbulence when coupled with a 1ZZ throttle body. It will also come in handy for those of us who want a quick and painless way to install a nitrous fogger.

Really wouldn't mind having it. but can't justify that money right at this time, if the price goes down a lil in a month or two or three maybe i can justify it then...

Will this affect the cai mounting point being a thicker around the tb area??? not sure if the cai has much more room to move or it will hut the fender liner how thick is the spacer??

The spacer is 1" thick, so I don't think it would affect CAI placement too much. The hose should be flexible enough to accommodate.

@xen555: That's great news, especially about the CEL (or lack thereof).
Have you heard anything from the fabricator yet about the GB pricing?

Nothing yet, unfortunately.
I'll try PMing xen555 and update the thread ASAP.

OK I just sent an e-mail to the fabricator to see if he's interested. I'll post the answer ASAP.

Send a message via AIM to cali yaris
Someone will have to dyno before and after to show any power gain (or loss).
