Does anyone know what part this is?

Hello everyone, I ran over a curb today and heard a horrible scraping sound on my drive home. I looked under the car and saw something hanging below. I am someone who knows nothing about cars, and I am going to get it fixed but just wanted to know if I could at least figure out what part it is. I had originally thought it was a splash guard but it seems like it's connected to a part of the area around the driver wheel (2nd picture. I can see it through the open area behind my tire). This is a 2008 Yaris SE by the way. Sorry for the bad pics, it's as good as I can get. Also apologies if this isn't the right place to post.

It is the under engine splash guard/tray. Connects to the bumper. They tend to eventually break off, mine has a bunch is zip ties holding it in place

As tmontague said, zip ties are your friend.

Thank you to all the replies! Got it removed and am waiting on my new splash guard since this one was pretty beat up. If it comes off again I'll now know I can use zip ties to fix it up again. Thanks again everyone!
