New Rims/Tire Pressure?

I have toyota yaris 2016 base sedan with stock 175/65R14 82T with steel rims manufacturer design pressure at 33psi front and 30 psi rear.

I upgraded to bigger tires and rim.

So bad there was no available 195/55R15 that time so instead I upgraded to 195/60R15 88H with alloy OEM. It increases diameter by 1.2inches from stock 23.0 to 24.2inch.

Now my question is, what will be the new desired pressure (safety/reliability)? I tried same exact pressure 33psi front and 30psi rear but it is too bumpy. I read some article somewhere about load index with corresponding pressure for the new tires when upsizing and learned that for my yaris the front load is 970 and rear 901 (lbs or kg i dunno) see attached photo.

If i use the attached table (photo) it will suggest me to use 27psi front and 25 psi rear since my new tires have higher load index 88H.

I cannot trust this or should i?

Currently i put my settings in the middle at 31PSI Front and 28PSI Rear and i think it gives comfy ride... I just want to be sure for the safety especially i will be travelling to Dubai next month (~980KM one way)

I have a 2006 Yaris T3 and a few months ago I upgraded my stock wheels of 185/60/R15 to 195/55/R15 and the recommended pressure was 33 psi throughout. My Toyota manual actually suggests lower tire pressures even for stock wheels, but I also go for feel and intuition rather than actual value only.

I am not very informed about tire pressures so I can't give you the answer you desire. However from my experience, I would err on the side of slightly over pressure than under pressure, so i would stick to 30 psi and above rather than stick to the 27, 25 psi. Can you contact or see the recommended tire pressure set by the manufacturer?

thanks for your reply... manufacturer decal sticker says 33psi front and 30psi rear. If i followed it my ride wont be comfortable, it is a bit rough and hard..

now i just went down to 31Front and 28rear and i feel comfortable however the issue is with safety. I am not sure if what i am doing is safe... 28psi at the rear? would that be safe? it does NOT look under-inflated to me.. in fact it looks just like the front tires, cannot distinguish the pressure by physical observation alone. i will be travelling by ~950KM + ~ 950KM (back n forth) in the coming 2 weeks hence i am asking this question, family will be with me.

Any time you go up in rim size and keep the overall diameter of the tire, you will have a rougher ride. There's just less tire sidewall to absorb the bumps. The trade off is better handling. I personally run about 34-36 psi front and 32-33 psi rear on my 15's, But I like taking corners and dont mind the rougher ride.

Personally I wouldn't run below 30psi.
