So took the Yaris out for the first time since the turbo install. It was a very fun course and we had a huge turnout! I even had my first spin out ever, quite the experience! Also I have never seen so many people looking around my engine bay....pretty hilarious.

Here's the obligatory Yaris-cam-

4 tires? Bah 3 will do fine!

Looks like a good time for sure. How'd the turbo feel at low range ?

NZ-FE: The turbo is pretty gutless below 2000 rpm but ramps up pretty quickly after that, it pulls hard the rest of the powerband up to redline! Definitely a marked improvement.

ilikerice: I have the Zage kit installed and i'm currently running 8 psi boost and using the Camcon to tune fuel and cam timing! So far no pre detonation and a/f ratios at full boost are staying in the low 11's to mid 12's.

How about a video without the house music so we can hear the engine?

Looking at the pics, time for some stiffer springs.

Haha all I picked up was windnoise....it was pretty bad. Time to invest in a GoPro!

What's funny is i'm currently running microimage springs, tokico blue shocks, and a 23mm rear swaybar. Have any suggestions on where to go from there?

The MI springs seem plenty aggressive (at 4k front) for occasional competition and street use, but I would double that for more serious use - especially since you just added weight to the front of your car with the turbo kit.

Its time for coil-overs. Corner weight the car, set the rake, get the rates you want, have adjustable damping. You should be able to sell your setup in a snap.

If you are going to run street tires try around 400lbs up front, with R tires 500lbs+.

Haha I like where you're going with this. Might just have to pull the trigger.

I have a set of Kido 5k/5k in stock. Also available are Cuscos and other brands with higher spring rates.

I believe the Kido's are 7K/5K, should be a nice balance for the turbo hatch.

I'll certainly be looking into those!

Also...
Another update! With the long weekend I finally had some time to take the car to the local exhaust shop and get a new system installed. The car sounds mean with the upgraded piping + Magnaflow 2.25 exhaust! I got a few thumbs up on the drive home haha.
