O2 sensor not mounting into DC headers!

So I've purchased some DC headers and the Flange is in the way of the O2 sensor. The mounting hole for the sensor is at an angle going towards the flange. Unfortunately unless I want to cross the threads the is no way it seems to get the O2 sensor to go straight in. Anyone else experience this problem?

I think there was a report of a similar problem on here, the fix was the gasket. Did you take the gasket off the old manifold and put it on the DC header?

On but the problem isn't the bolt clearance, it's the O2 sensor screw hole is actually angled down towards the flange instead of straight out...I'm try

i got in to the same problem. The shop kill my o2 sensor. I am awaiting new o2 sensor and cost me 249 for the sensor. How to fix this problem? Cut the screw shorter or bent the o2 sensor little bit? Thanks!
