Got the rest of our body work, it is getting painted this week. Hopefully the head comes back this week as well.

Also got the new engine management.

Hopefully it will be back to life within the next ten days.

Got a call from our engine guy... He was not happy with the first set of valve springs he received, so a new set is on the way. Should get the finished product on Monday now. Can't wait to see what it does on the dyno with head work and new cams.

Freshly painted fenders, hood and bumper just got dropped off. Time to get out of here and go install them.

power band should be very interesting now.

I'm doing even stronger springs now as well.

I'd be curious to know what seat pressure you guys end up with with the stronger springs.

Core support, radiator and front fenders are in.

And just when I had given up all hope of ever seeing our custom 13" wheels, I even bought another set of 15"s, a box full of wheels shows up. 8lbs 5oz of dead sexy aluminum.

Did you have any issues at all swapping in the final drive and output shaft from an xB? -- I think that's the way I recall you doing it.

I did not install the parts myself, I just dropped off the trans and the parts, but I was told it was a perfect fit. However, the car has not moved under its own power with those gears, so the real test will come next week. But we have no reason to think there will be an issue.

Now do the math on converting to a 4.30 gear with a 20" tall tire. It should move now. Being under 1900lbs wont hurt either.

Best news... Just did a test fit with one of our custom three-piece wheels, and they clear the brakes. But I do need to get a set of longer studs, the centers are a little thick on these wheels.

I think "skeletonized" describes your interior.

Garm, what code is your current box (eg, C154) and what code is the XB box?

The USDM Yaris and early xB are both a C50. The outside of the case is different, so a complete swap is not in the cards, but the guts can be changed.

In that case, anything from a C50, C52 or C56 should swap around without too much drama, maybe a different bearing here and there but that's about it.

Correct, and now I have one of each, thanks to Jason playing guinea pig for us.
