2 VERY annoying Squeaks...

My '07 HB sounds like it's 30 years old.

The first squeak is the break pedal. No, it's not the breaks themselves but when I press the break pedal it makes this awful and LOUD squeak when I release it. I tried some spray lube, but it didn't fix the problem.

The other sqeak comes from under the shift boot...whenever I shift into 2nd, from either 3rd or first, it squeaks horribly. Any solutions? Ideas?

Otherwise, besides replacing the water pump and serp belt this winter and oil changes, nothing else has ever been wrong with my car. It has almost 63,000 miles on it and I will have had it 4 years mid-August.

Thanks!
