if Akio Toyoda really believes they need to bring back the sports car, they will. The 86 is a good start, and this car they are making with BMW could also be awesome. It is a start in the correct direction.

Anyone know what that mesh-like thing in the exhaust is for? muffling? emissions?

You sure? Here is a shot of Mikko Hervonens exhaust tip, and it looks exactly like a Catalytic converter to me. That and I thought WRC cars were mandated to have cats because they have to drive on public roads.
