eBay lowering springs: anybody able to share their experience with'em?
My buddy and I changed the struts/shocks on my LB over the weekend and although it needed to be done due to the old ones being completely blown (they wouldn't even spring back after being compressed anymore, lol)... The height of my ride has increased due to the new suspension with a noticeably higher tire-fender gap now. The strut/shock combo came from eBay for under $100 so can't complain too much but now it looks as though some lowering springs would be necessary for both appearance and ride height. Saw a set of lowering springs for a lil under $70 on eBay. Seller was listed as speed_daddy - anybody here have any thoughts/experience with these 1.5" lowering springs?

So springs are listed on eBay without a brand name? I'd spend a little bit more and at least get a recognized brand.

No brand name on these unless something's escaping me... Specs/spring rates seem decent for everyday driving = 175lbs/in up front & 205lbs/in in the rear = not super stiff ;)
Just curious to know if anybody here has given'em a try... Here's a link for the listing in question: m.ebay.com/itm/1-5-DROP-RACING-SUSPENSION-LOWERING-SPRINGS-SPRING-06-12-YARIS-VITZ-XP90-BLUE-/400696606692 |
