Well, spacing was about 3 inches + 3M Scotch 5lb Exterior Heavy-Duty Mounting Tape.

Love the work Derick. I just wanna recommend a product that I have fallen in love with. In the pics the black plastic by the mirrors are a little faded and I've used this product to get it sorted. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for listing the brand and type of mounting tape!

I've read through a number of these Home Depot lip threads and everyone seems to just give a vague "I used mounting tape" to describe what they used!

If I ever get around to doing this, at least I'll know what to look for!

You are welcome, actually I did use 2 kinds but I bet they where the same stuff, I was lazy to pick up from the trash can and take a picture of the second kind of tape, this one I got at Home Depot... and it does say 3M at the bottom.

Now I was very curious to see how much deflection of the lip at high way speeds, this shot was taken at 65 mph and it's not bad...

With that locking washers, that's really not coming off unless it tears. lol. Great job.
