So I used the Turtle Wax Black Box, and here's how it looks

Sorry the pics are on my cell phone, I can't find my damn camera anywhere

Overall, I am pretty impressed with it. I usually dislike Turtle Wax products, and I won't use them usually - I find them to be, well, crap. But since the previous thread in here said it rocked, I decided to pull the trigger and buy it. I woke up early today and got to work :D It was overcast a bit, it's like 60degrees out and I figured it's a good day to get it done. So here we go.

Before pictures:

And the after it was all done pics. I didn't touch my tires, I'm driving to Nashville later so there is no point of cleaning them.

I also realized I really need to clean the flower bed after the storm, it looks bad with all the leaves :/ Oh well.

But all and all, I am very happy with it ..... there is no sun and it still shines like this via a camera phone picture. It really is just sexy in real life. I can't wait till the sun comes out :)

Isn't the lack of white residue fantastic?

from what I know they are .... we don't really get stressed about headlights/taillights/window tint down here though either. The cops have more important things to do I guess. But you can see the lights clearly through the tint so it's legal as far as I know. I'll take pictures of them light up, the paint I used is dark as hell but when you hit the brakes or throw it in reverse, you can see with noooo problem. Here you have to have 50% of the light showing, and it's more than that I do believe.

You could call them. All you'd have to do is simply say, "I'm THOMAS - and I want it in red." bet they'd have it on the shelves within a week :)

Is this stuff commonly found (e.g. car parts stores, Walmart, etc)? I am itching to try it, I HATE that white residue and it's a constant battle to get rid of it on black cars! I'll still need normal wax for my headlights, tails, etc; but for the body I would really like to try this stuff!

Cheers! M2

Yup! It was $18.99 at O'Reilly; that's the cheapest I found it - Autozone was $25, and walmart was $19.99

Just seriously, wear gloves - I didn't and I am still black lol I had to re-do my manicure because it dyed my nailpolish black hahhaha even the spray detailer is black! Which is SO nice because I can just use that on the car and just adds dimension that regular spray detailer doesn't. I love this product, and I love that Mazilla recommended it - it really did make a HUGE difference.

You didn't wear gloves, after I made it a point to emphasize needing them? D'Oh! :)

When I trimmed my finger nails two days after waxing the car they were all black. That black dye will stain the crap outta fingers, and ruin whatever clothes you're wearing.

No glove no love!

Cool, thanks! I'm off to O'Reilly's to buy some (and some gloves!)...

Cheers! M2
