1nzfe + glanza turbo kit

Hi guys and girls.. this is my first post...
Well first i want to apologize for my bad bad english.

Im planning to turbocharge my vitz rs ncp13 1nzfe manual.

Im about to buy an aem fic. First step in my build.

Well i was wondering if i could get a stock glanza turbo kit
I can fit it in my vitz? And make custom pipes etc.
It would be pretty expensive for me to import parts, like 9uss
Per pound.. and thas without calculating volume... plus taxes etc..

If i can build my turbo like im plannig. What kind of hp do u think i can get?
Stock internals.

I've never seen a Glanza. What do you know about the motor/turbo/etc. that it has?

Glanza is the starlet gt... It uses a 4efte engine. 1300cc ct9 charger

no it wont work, exhaust is on the wrong side & the stock ct9 turbo is much too small for a highflowing 1nz (compared to e-series motors).

your better off with the Zage kit from Garm, or starting from scratch

True! 1nzfe flow more than they look like :P

I would never go smaller than a Garrett GT2252 on a 1nzfe or you may have troubles for multiples reasons. (own experience)

For your AEM FIC; they make a nice plug-n-play harness that takes 5mins to install and ready to use

I made a 145whp/145wtq on mustang dyno @5.75psi, Garrett GT2252 journal bearing. This is a conservative horsepower, some ppl are getting more out of it but personaly I would never go over 150whp on stock rods.

A Glanza is a 1.3 4EFTE turbo (toyota turbocharger Ct-9) and has a top mount intercooler, the actuator is fixed at 9psi stock, (+ it has a selenoid/switch to run less boost at 6psi from a push button on the dashboard)

the turbo itself is small, its smaller than a t-25. it has very little lag, comes in at 2.500/3 aprox. I managed to run it at 18psi np, some mates even tried 22psi on it but off course it runs out of puff.

it was my first baby! 220bhp on 940kg :-) mates running mid 10's on the 4efte monster toyota and yamaha built!!

Actually the starlet gt is up till 91-1995, glanza V or glanza s (non turbo 1.5) where made from 96 till 99

Hi Mate, that was my very first idea but it will not fit :-(

all the probs you mentioned are the same thing here. Try and get hold of a 1nzfe Turbo (JDM Vitz Rs TRD sports M) parts, that is what I am trying to get hold, buy a full engine, it will be cheaper than buying any s/c or turbo kit from outside the EU.
