Small noise form drivers side.. :(

Hi guys iv begun getting this small pop coming from the drivers side front end..

Its mainly when i hit a squarish bump, and or turn towards the right..

I brought it to get checked at an alignement place and they told me everything is fine, they checked everything in the front direction.

Can it be the top plate on the strut ?? How do you check that ?? The car has 27000 kms.. thats like 18000 miles.. its practically brand new. We have been getting extremely hot weather here.. do you think its the heat ? Can i apply some lube like silicone lube around all the joints ?? Its not dangerous im sure but it is annoying..

Thanks !!

Maybe the lower control arm bolts? I think there's a recall on that. Mine made a similar noise and that's what it was.

if you drive on roads that tend to have salt put down to counter act the snow and ice then you may have a control are bolt starting to corrode off, it will look normal until the head of the bolt finally breaks off.

It does sound like the noise is coming from the lower end though.. when i brought it the alignment shop the guys tighten all the bolts with an air gun.. do you think they missed those ones.. ??

If they hit them with the impact wrench and they were corroded, one or more may have snapped.

x2 That sounds about right all those suspension bolts have specific torque values and some are stretch/torqued bolts. You never tighten those with an air gun.

I know it's been a few months, but did you ever figure out the problem? I am having the same problem now. I have this weird noise coming from the front drivers side and am also hearing it from the passenger side. I hear the noise when I go over speed bumps and dips as well.
